The PerfStixx completion system is the industry’s first wireline-conveyed, single-run, perforating and acidizing combination tool.
By integrating Hunting’s modular Efficiency Gun (EGun) perforating system with StimStixx Technology’s acid-gas generating tools, reservoir conductivity is established more reliably and efficiently than ever before. PerfStixx minimizes the environmental impact associated with traditional treatment methods by eliminating the hazards associated with pumping liquid acid from surface. The convenience of wireline-conveyed spot treatment also reduces the rig time and footprint associated with coiled tubing applications. PerfStixx is powered by Hunting’s proven ControlFire Cartridge, enabling plug and play, safe and reliable perforating operations. This revolutionizing technology is perfect for pinpoint perforating and treatment applications where pumping corrosive liquid acid is cost prohibitive or poses a risk to premium casing alloys and connections.
