Loosens and removes paraffin wax and scale deposits from inside the wall of the completion bore

Product summary

This operation is usually carried out with the well flowing through a reduced choke, to remove the loose wax or solids.

The scratcher/ brush consists of a solid body with a series of drilled holes to accept the wire or braided cable. The wireline can be installed in two ways to fit the type of operation; either by a continuous loop “in and out” over the length of the scratcher or by cutting single lengths of braided cable to suit tubing size.
