Product summary

Especially suited to highly deviated wells, the Roller Kickover Tools consist of a conventional kickover tool modified to incorporate swivel Roller subs at the top and bottom of the tool.

A roller-swivel feature was designed to reduce tool friction whilst running in hole, extending the reach of conventional slickline operations in highly deviated wells with enough set down force to perform side pocket operations. The roller-swivel Sub also allows a smooth rotation action at the Orienting sleeve enhancing tool performance at high deviation angles.

The arm housing protects the arm and attached devices during installation and retrieval.

A spacer bar is required when retrieving subsurface control devices. The tools do not incorporate a knuckle joint or swivel joint therefore one may be added in the wireline tool string directly above the tool.

The Roller Kickover Tools are available with various connections to suit customer requirements.

Hunting’s Roller Kickover Tools use key components manufactured by Hunting to original Camco™ designs and specifications.

Hunting now offers Roller Kickover Tools in several different sizes from 2-3/8” OD through 4-1/2” OD and different Types such as OK-5, OK-6, and OM-1.

The Roller Kickover Tools are wireline service tools that are used to install and retrieve 1” and 1 ½” OD side pocket subsurface control devices into Camco™ side pocket mandrels fitted with an orienting sleeve. A running or pulling tool must be attached to these tools to perform the operations.
