Otis D Running Tool

The Otis D running tool consists of a top sub complete with fishing neck and sucker rod pin connection, a core, a main body and a dog (collet) set.

The D collar lock mandrel being deployed by the Otis D running tool is first located in the coupling recess. Upward jarring then sets the lock and continued upward jarring shears the pin in the Otis D running tool enabling the release from the Type D collar lock.
