Product summary

Camco DH running tools are wireline service tools are used to install Camco hydraulic shear sleeve shifting tools in the shifting profile of a tubing retrievable subsurface safety valve or a hydraulic communication nipple.

The DH running tool consists of a fishing neck with a threaded pin connection on the upper end, a plunger and a skirt housing on the lower end. The DH running tool is attached to the appropriate shifting tool by tangential shear pins. The skirt housing has a ‘no go’ which correctly aligns the running tool and shifting tool assembly with the shifting profile.

As with all Camco DH series running tools, downward jarring will set the shifting tool in the profile, an over pull can be taken against the tangential shear pins to confirm, upward jarring will then shear the tangential pins and release the running tool.
