Production Control Valve
Hunting’s Back Pressure Valve (BPV) is ideal for preventing chemicals injected into low-pressure subsea wells from being lost due to chemical head pressure.
Product summary
Hunting’s Back Pressure Valve (BPV) is ideal for preventing chemicals injected into low-pressure subsea wells from being lost due to chemical head pressure.
By increasing the back pressure in the chemical supply line to approximately 800 psi, the Hunting BPV impedes the formation of a vacuum below the injection pump.
This results in the chemical pump supplying positive pressure while metering the chemical flow, and helping ensure that chemical displaces into the well at a predictable rate.
