Hunting has made a multi-million pound investment to develop a new, world-class OCTG tubular threading facility located at Fordoun, twenty minutes south of Aberdeen, further strengthening its position as the world’s largest independent threading company.

Purchasing the old aerodrome site in 1995, Hunting has extended its operations at Fordoun from ten to its present fifty acre footprint.

Phase One was completed in 2009, re-developing Fordoun as a world class pipe management facility following a multi-million pound investment. Phase Two was the recent construction of a new purpose built threading facility located adjacent to the pipe storage yard to minimise transport costs.
